"Denjong Pema Chöling Academy School"* (DPCA) and orphanage in Sikkim (formerly known as Denjong), India, under the aegis of Muyal Liang Trust.

The former Kingdom of Sikkim was annexed by India in 1975 as its twenty-second state. Sharing a border with Nepal, Sikkim is one of the least developed regions of India.
In 1980, Yapo S. Yongda, a former officer in the Sikkim army and later Buddhist monk, founded DPCA – a school aiming to offer underprivileged children an academic education.In 1989, Mr Yongda was honoured by the Indian President for his exceptional contribution towards social welfare.

Located close to the legendary Pemayangtse Monastery, the cardinal Monastery of Nyingmapa School of Vajrayana Buddhism, in Pelling, West Sikkim, and lapped at the third highest mountain peak of the world, "Mount Ganchen-Zodgna" (Highest Peak possessing five auspicious treasures)-a Sacred Mountain ordained by the Lotus Born Buddha Mahaguru Padmasambhava, the DPCA thus commands the majesties of spiritual influences and blessings of Denjong's thus most celebrated and incomparable lineage and heritage.

Certified and registered under the Central Board of Secondary Education of India, the curriculum at the school includes one hour of compulsory education in Buddha's philosophy of erudition and compassion, for knowledge without compassion leads to a mundane chase of materialism.
